Siam To Siem

Accor Siam to Siem Cycle for l’Ecole d’Hotellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule : 19, 20, 21st October 2012

This charity event will bring together Accor team members from around the world to challenge themselves against a backdrop of extreme weather, tough roads, rustic conditions and riding in excess of 125 km’s per day to reach the ultimate goal: to raise funds for, and celebrate the 10 year Anniversary of the Ecole d’ Hotellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule.

10 years ago Paul Dubrule, the co-founder of Accor established the Ecole d’ Hotellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule in Siem Reap to give young Cambodians who need a helping hand the training and qualifications necessary to contribute towards sustainable tourism in Cambodia.

10 years on and over 1200 students trained, the Accor Siam to Siem Cycle will raise funds for the school and celebrate the ongoing vision of training young people in need coupled with the physical challenge of riding across vast distances and doing it tough for a few days to benefit others for a lifetime.

The riders will be working tirelessly, fundraising and training to ride from Bangkok, Thailand (Siam) for 3 days to reach the Ecole Paul Dubrule in Siem Reap, Cambodia on Sunday 21st October 2012 where they will experience some of the professional hospitality skills learnt by the students first hand.
